Rocca offers warm and welcoming hospitality paired with views of the Tampa skyline in an elegant setting in The Heights District. Chef Bryce Bonsack’s handmade pasta-focused menu features Italian fares using seasonal ingredients as it’s inspiration.
I stumbled upon ROCCA while retreating from a very crowded Armature Works and desperately seeking a cocktail. 😉🍸 The restaurant is located around the block from Armature Works and an easy walk back and forth.
➕ First stepping into the restaurant you take in a very clean, bright and chic atheistic. ☺️
➕ The aroma of the freshly made pasta & Italian seasonings waft through the air and I kid you not, my mouth started to water. 😉
➕ We sat at the bar and were immediately welcomed and served with menus and asked if we’d like to order. I have to note this because it is always SO appreciated to be acknowledged when sitting down at the bar and who doesn’t love prompt service? 😁
➕ We ordered Aperol Spritz (a personal favorite) and they were delicious. 🍹 We also ordered Calamari which was cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Overall I highly recommend ROCCA for dinner, drinks or both. We didn’t have a reservation and the host staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating!
