So by now I’m sure you’ve heard all about the silicone ring trend. Right? It started with Qualo and while intrigued I wasn’t really interested until I saw the Enso Unicorn Ring as I was scrolling my Facebook feed. I love all things unicorn so it totally stopped my scroll and I had no choice but to check out their website which is when I kind of fell in love. While Qualo may have made the silicone ring concept popular – Enso made it CUTE. Their website is loaded with cute patterns/designs and colors. Like rose gold. And blush pink. And all the pretty things. All the pretty things I knew I had to try out for myself.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my engagement ring + wedding band set but what about when I head to the beach? Or working out? Or cleaning? Doing outdoor activities? You know, the day to day things where normally you take your ring off completely so as to not get it dirty or worse yet, damaged. Seems like a perfect opportunity for the (cute) silicone ring to make it’s way onto your finger, right? I thought so too.
So after much browsing and much debate I chose the unicorn ring (obviously) and this little peach-color braided beauty. I loved how dainty and feminine it was and thought it would compliment the unicorn ring nicely as a stackable set. I got them in the mail today and couldn’t wait to share with you guys! Shipping was super quick too; I ordered on May 9th (Wednesday) and they arrived today (Monday.) I always appreciate a company who has quick shipping. Don’t you?
It was packaged up with these inserts and the rings safely secured in it’s own little envelope. They looked just like they did online and I was really excited about that. Sometimes colors vary when you look at something online and I was hoping the peach color was a true light orange-y pink and not leaning more towards orange. I also loved that the unicorn ring did have a color hue reflective change as expected but it was still a pearly white base color.
I put them on my right hand to test them out since I’m wearing my other rings on my left hand and was really impressed with how easily they slid on and how comfortable they were! I’ve never worn a silicone ring so I was really unsure how I would like the feel and texture.
I went back and forth on which band I wanted to wear on top and which on bottom but settled with this set because the unicorn ring felt more like the wedding band and you’re supposed to wear your wedding band closer to your heart, right? Plus, I think it looked a little more balanced this way too.
My husband has a Qalo ring so I interested in comparing the quality between them and I would say they were really similar… His just isn’t as cute, haha. The Enso Rings have a “thick” and “thin” option for men and women (or if a woman prepared the thick option that would be totally doable too) but I did go with thin and I’m glad I did because the thick definitely would have been too masculine for my fingers. I think this size is perfect and I love the effect of the stacking too.
As far as sizing I had asked a friend who had purchased from Enso Rings prior to my purchase and she suggest sizing down. I’m glad I did because the size 5 fit perfectly (I normally am a 5.5) and she also mentioned that after some wear (and taking on and off) they did stretch out a little so to definitely size down if you’re in-between sizes or a half size like me.
So all in all I’m totally happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend them! I kinda want to get my hubby the Yeti Ring which is the male option to my Unicorn Ring both of them part of the Enso LEGENDS collection (which I think is so cute.) The Rose Gold ring is the next one I have my eye on… I think it would look super pretty with the unicorn or even with the braided Pink Sand! So many options! 😉
